Plenty of action in the kitchen garden

Another lovely weather week so I've been in the kitchen garden planting potatoes, onions and shallots.   I have chitted my potatoes, not because I think they grow any better, because they are delivered so quickly if I planted straight away the frost would get them.  I've also spied some asparagus just about to emerge so in a few days i'll be having it for my tea.  Damson, plums, peach and nectarine are all covered in flowers.  I've also started to harden off my sweet peas which were sown in November.  Plenty of things going on, life never stands still in the garden
